Bornfree, a Farr 727 has been renovated to a high standard inside and out. Set up for cruising the harbour on day trips and overnights. New kitchen with loads of storage, induction hob running off a lithium battery, charged by 2 100w solar panels. New 80L fresh water tank, electric water pump for running water, and cockpit shower. 45 litre Dometic fridge, cassettte toilet, recycled timber table that can be mounted inside and outside. The interior has been painted, carpeted, and wood varnished. And has new squabs. The exterior has been fully repainted and has fresh kiwigrip. Antifoul was done in January 2025. Comes with three as new black Mylar head sails, and an older Dacron main.

We have owned Bornfree since 2021, and have had many good times, learned to sail on her, met amazing people, relaxed with friends, sad to see her go, but we have upgraded. Currently in Te Ana Marina, usually kept in Diamond Harbour on a pile mooring that can be transferred. Comes with a wooden dinghy kept at the berth holders’ shed over there.

Note, includes Yamaha 8hp two stroke outboard. Or a 2023 Suzuki 20hp fuel injected 4 stroke with approximately 30 hours at additional cost by negotiation. Both engines were recently serviced.
