Cavalier 32
Description
I have owned Ariaa for around five years and had no intention to sell her but serious health issues now mean I need to find a new home for her. Ariaa is sound, tidy and been looked after. A reconditioned mast and new boom were fitted a few years ago. She has a three cylinder Solé diesel that starts first kick. All sails are in good condition though I have only used the main and furling headsail. All exterior canvasses have been replaced with dark green and the interior has been reupholstered in blue. Ariaa is currently on my mooring in the Kenepuru Sound and that could be available for use if the new owner would like that. Happy to send the Vinings sheet with plenty of detail, to a serious enquirer.
Questions & Answers
Ariaa comes with the original ships log from when she was a NZL registered ship meaning she must have done some blue water sailing. She comes with plenty of gear on board including a functioning radar unit, not that I have ever used that. Seller comment Sunday, 3 May 2026 Ariaa used to be called Jenesta, which is a plant on the Plantagenet’s coat of arms. She was a deep blue when we owned her in the early 1990’s. I believe she sailed in a Trans -Tasman race which at that time started in Tauranga. Lovely to see her looking so good. miseult (1466 • 11:57 am, Mon, 4 May )
