Thompson 750 Turbo

Atomic was launched in approximately 2001 for the legendary Dr Charles Hollings. With his passing, Atomic is now reluctantly for sale.

This T750 features a larger NZ Rigging carbon rig (~2018) with triple trapezes. It is the standard keel model. The keel bulb remains the original weight for those wanting to dispense with the wires. Or lighten the bulb and go even faster.

Atomic is sailed every Wednesday night, but would benefit from a little tender loving care from a new owner.

A major refit was carried out in approx. 2017 by Kevin Johnson boaatbuilders in Devonport/ Atomic has a near new 4HP Yamaha outboard. The trailer was renewed about 10 years ago and appears fundamentally sound but some sections may need replacing before travelling extended distances. The duratorque suspension and brakes appear to be in working order but would need checking. The gunwale extensions are removable to bring it to the road-legal width.
