Competitive Racer / Day Cruiser

Pocket Rocket is a well set up & competitive Wright 6.5 Sport. She is registered with Yachting NZ as a keelboat, however is very easy to launch from her purpose-built trailer. She has a retractable bulb keel and lifting rudder with stainless steel rudder stock. She has a brand new set of carbon sails from Rogue sails, with a large square top Carbon Main & Carbon Jib. She also has a set of training sails with conventional main. She has 2 gennakers (a masthead & fractional) launched and retrieved from a molded foredeck chute, and has a retractable carbon pole, making downwind sail handling super convenient! She is currently set up for twin trapeze's, and is easily sailed two-handed in moderate breeze, with amazing performance on offer in heavier air with 3 - 4 on board. Super lightweight, near-new condition Mercury 3.3hp Outboard to meet racing regs. Very easily towed Trailer with retractable drawbar in excellent condition & will provide new WOF / Rego upon sale. Delivery throughout NZ or Parking spot at Evan's Bay Yacht Club in Wellington may be available by negotiation.
