Questions & Answers
A council permit is required in many districts. They have different rules. In the Waikato it needs to be road legal & moved every 3 months to NOT be termed a dwelling. A lot of people are getting into trouble due to thinking they dont need permits, wasting a lot of money on plumbed tiny structures & then ending up homeless when they are told they cant do what they are doing…… ritaanne (96 • 9:18 am, Fri, 8 Aug )sorry, no intention to confuse, and the purchaser, would have to check the rules in their area. rexg2 (14 • Friday, 8 August 2025 )Good evening how wide is this outerhere (105 • 8:54 pm, Tue, 12 Aug )2.7metres with pushout about 4metres. Also with the gas, heating, hot water, fridge and cooktop are gas. A new cooktop (Dometic ) fitted as the USA one did not comply. The onboard 60litre gas tank has been removed and a new system to accommodate 4 x 9.5 litre tanks for ease of recharging, has been set up . All fully certificated at a cost of $3k. Come, check it out, and be impressed Cheers rexg2 (14 • Tuesday, 30 September 2025 )How many can it sleep ? tizmeself (50 • 11:26 am, Thu, 9 Oct )Check the photos, Double bed in the back, dining area simply converted to double bed and lounge suite, folds out (simply ) to a full queen size bed. Cheers. rexg2 (14 • Thursday, 9 October 2025 )I viewed this today and it is immaculate. Nothing is flimsy or fragile like the new stuff today. Rex is one of the most honest & kind people you will ever meet. We were viewing a commercial building to buy off him when we saw this beautiful spacious house. No house removal costs. No permits as it's like a huge oversize caravan. Storage places everywhere. Just the solar to upgrade and your off grid forever. Good luck Rex, well worth the look.
