16 Amp OMV charger and cable

I bought three items to make this up so it can work from home - with 240v socket that has larger earth pin. Available from most electrical stores, and just need to hang off higher amp cable at home (I got electrician to sort this out for minimal cost)

OMV 16 Amp charger ( Christchurch firm with great reputation), which feeds from 3 pin caravan female socket Plus higher AMP extension cable with 240v male plug and 3 pin caravan plug (male, from RV Warehouse). The cable was bought second hand from electrician and has the black professional repair to what I assume is a cut in the sleeve The adaptor to fit my Nissan Leaf (see pic). You can simply plug in. This is branded adaptor from Repco, not some Temu nasty

The whole thing worked really well, and it was handy to be able to charge faster at home. But not super fast and high amperage, which shortens battery life

I spent some time talking with my electrician to suss this out. 16 AmP is max that you can charge off home circuit without costly intervention. You need to ensure you have a higher amp feed from fuse Board - not a biggie

I sold my EV with the standard 8 Amp cable so this is spare
