Mantic Stage 4 Clutch Kits feature a cerametallic / cerametallic clutch plate with dampening (SCC) for greatly improved torque capacity; designed for a mix of street and motorsport use. Therefore driveability is compromised to enable on track performance.

All Mantic clutch kits have a 20% increase in clamp load to further increase torque capacity. Plus all kits include an SG Iron pressure plate with 3x the burst strength of traditional clutch kits to ensure they can handle extreme centrifugal forces of performance applications.

A sprung centre type clutch plate with cerametallic buttons rivetted to the disc (SSC) has less inertia than a standard plate and this can translate into a faster shift with a reduced shift effort. This type of plate retains a sprung centre to dampen the impact and loads that reach the drive train. This type of plate can be harsh during operation and it is not suitable for being purposely slipped. The Ceramic buttons increase the torque capacity of the clutch without requiring an increase in clutch size.
