The OEM clutch pedal return spring on the GT86/FR-S/BRZ is quite stiff. It makes the clutch pedal feel soft and unnatural. By using the reduction spring of your choosing (this kit comes with 2 springs of different spring rates) the clutch pedal will have a more direct / mechanical feel.
