Condition: Working Fine - recently Tested on a 1996 Corolla AE100 A/T with 5A-FE Engine. The car started first bump, and run beautifully! Pulled out as I had others to test. This ECU was imported from UAE - From dry area, and no humidity = no corrosion. I had purchased 3 of these - very hard to find. The other one exactly the same is also in my TradeMe Listings.

Good question. When I resaerched this ages ago, the answer was yes. You should research it, maybe ask around. These ECUs were tested in my own Toyota but my one is with Auto trans. The Auto function in the ECU only includes the park inhibitor signal, so is irrelavent in the manual (apparently). I will not guarantee this as a fact though. 1elbbuh (133) • Friday, 16 January 2026
