CLASSIC MINI FRONT SUBFRAME TOWER IMPROVEMENT KIT C-STR640A
Car set of 4 top Subframe tower mountings for cars from 1976-2000.
Austin, Leyland & Rover Mini Mk4, including Clubman.
Aluminum pad for the top of each subframe mounting and a polyurethane pad below to replace the original standard rubbers. The alloy pads help reduce subframe movement and the poly helps to reduce the road noise.
The alloy mounts go between the big bolt and the bulkhead and the poly type between the bulkhead and subframe.
Produces more road noise than standard rubber but the benefit is far more stability.

As a general guide the rating of 60 Shore will imitate original rubber parts hardness for your car.
50, 60, 70 Shore - Typically subframe mountings, replacement of pu foam shock mounts etc. where low NVH (Noise Vibration & Hardness) is a priority and situations where compliance is desirable.
80, 88 Shore - Typically wishbone, radius rod, non coil over shock eye bushes
90 Shore - Typically leaf spring eyes or more heavily loaded wishbones & radius arms, trunnion bushes where replacing rubber
95 Shore - Typically intensely loaded coil over shock bushes, trunnion bushes where replacing nylon.
