Coachman highlander 2005
Description
This caravan we bought in 2020 with the idea of housing our son remotely. We also rented it to other family members in time of need. All has been resolved since then and it is now surplus to requirements. It is in good condition with most of the maintenance up to date. It works equally well for weekend use or as an outside room or office on an existing property. Its chassis is in excellent condition and it has no problem getting a WOF. It has a current electrical certificate. It has a brand new battery, all lights and appliances are operational although i wasn't able to get the heater to work with power. It works fine on gas. As the owners we have never spent the night in it ourselves so cannot comment on the experience nevertheless our family used it without real complaint. It is in great condition for its age and we see no real reason why it isn't fit for purpose.
Questions & Answers
Hey there I have 14k cash can pick up from anywhere if anybody wastes your time or you can't get rid of it give me a call thanks mikey0909 (0 • 11:39 pm, Wed, 25 Mar )Ok thanks, we'll keep you in mind. petchy1 (462 • Wednesday, 25 March 2026 )Had this had any leaks or damage? nic307 (11 • 6:48 am, Sun, 29 Mar )Its never leaked while we've had it. Its as dry as a chip inside. There's a few small dings on the RH side and some superficial damage around the lower back end where its hit on uneven ground but overall its pretty good. There are signs of wear on the inside with the veneer but otherwise pretty good for a 22 yr old caravan. petchy1 (462 • Sunday, 29 March 2026 )Hi what do you tow it with are you selling both. jimmytarb (23 • 3:22 pm, Thu, 2 Apr )I towed up from Bulls last year with my Tucson. It handled it really well but its not for sale sorry. petchy1 (462 • Thursday, 2 April 2026 )Hi. How long is it? Does it have a full awning, or just the roll:out one? Any signs of rot in the floor (esp. The rear corners)? wytse (1300 • 10:02 pm, Sat, 4 Apr )It does come with an awning but we havent been able to figure out how it fits. It could be simply the wrong awning. Not sure if we still have the poles either. The floor is still ok theres no rot in the back corners. It feels a little flexible underfoot but theres no cracks or holes. The caravan is 4.5 metres long.🙂 petchy1 (462 • Saturday, 4 April 2026 )
