4 Berth 1978 Maxi Camper “Gertie”

Much loved rare full 4 berth pop top, purchased myself in 2022 for $5800 via this group. Previous owner had built a base for a queen over the 2 couch/table end which I removed and returned camper to original layout.

Have replaced all the joinery ply and couch/bed tops, making the fold out couch bed at front into permanent queen bed with storage and large pull out drawer.

• Original stainless steel sink comes with, but I never used.
• Canvas has been updated, but could do with a clean. Comes with original awning and skirt in red and green, just needs the zips sewed on to fit the updated canvas.
• Comes with grey awning roof as pictured which is all I ever needed to use.
• Squabs are all in excellent condition.
• Full roof rack for surfboards and bikes
• All internal wiring redone end of 2022, 4 double plugs fitted (one not pictured next to bed)

• Rego till 18th oct 2026, electrical cert until dec 2026
• Have run her through for a warrant, failed on tail lights only. Have purchased new taillights and attempted to get them sorted but the wiring is above my pay grade and I’m sure will be an easy fix for the right person.

Only selling due to kids being past the age camping with mum is cool. She’s not perfect, consider her a project that’s 80% done. But with a little love she’ll be right as rain for this summer
