1972 Lilliput Special

Big Lil is a New Zealand made Lilliput Special caravan, at 12ft 6inches one of around 30 at this length made. She is all fibreglass, including the interior, except the interior cupboards and doors. Custom-made heavy-duty axle, including lengthened drawbar. All electrical wiring has been redone. Exterior paint by Mike at Whitianga Auto Spray. All new interior upholstery done by Steve’s Upholstery, new curtains and custom-made mattress. New porta Potti, Ensuite/toilet pop up tent. Inbuilt C-Tex MXS 5.0 charging system for caravan battery. Inbuilt for TV function inc: Ariel dish with Zea Tek decoder 4300HD FTA/SKY that takes my sky card. The front dinette drops down to make up a double bed and the rear bed can also be pulled out to make double bed. Original walk through awning plus a custom-made awning by Mercury Bay Canvas. Radio/CD Player. 1970 GT Cortina Wheels fitted with light truck tyres x3. Weight 11cwt about 600kgs. Length 12ft-6. Note: the gas cooker is not connected as we used our BBQ outside in the awning.
