2008 Alfa Romeo 159 Sw Ti
Background check
Description
Alfa Romeo 159 SW Ti 2008 PRICE REDUCED AGAIN!
This 2008 Alfa Romeo 159 SW Ti offers Italian style with family practicality. It's the station wagon variant with a 2.2-litre petrol engine paired to a 6 speed manual gearbox. Being NZ new, it has its full history in the country. Full black leather seats and trim, all electric front seats with heating too.
While it does need some work, it has failed its warrant on suspension bushes and rear brake rotors, this Alfa has been reliable. Pictures and warrant form are to come. The spacious interior comfortably seats five, with plenty of room in the boot for luggage and gear. It's good on fuel for a car of this size, and the manual transmission makes it nice to drive.
Update 13th Feb, it now has a check engine light on code P0014 variable can shaft fault. It is not the cam sensor. I will continue to investigate, I have ordredered a solenoid (which is next to check) Open to good offers for this nice car now.
A tow bar is fitted, also touch screen stereo head unit works well. The Ti models come with 19 inch alloys and sit a little lower than other models. This car has a faded clearcoat on the bonnet and the tailgate top spoiler as shown in the pictures - this is not peeling, just faded. Also a small dent in the left front wing and bonnet. I have 2 brand new lower front suspension arms that are still boxed available too. The handbrake fault has been corrected now too.
I just don't have the time to spend on this car at the moment, so would suit someone with a little time to correct these issues. Feel free to call anytime if you have any questions.

Questions & Answers
Those failed wof items seem like normal wear and tear... When did wof and rego expire? Look forward to seeing the pics. Thanks malmcal (155 • 4:59 pm, Wed, 10 Dec )Hi, sorry for the late response. I will post pictures as soon as I get a chance. Just wear and tear for the warrant. Front lower and upper ball joints and rear rotors are under thickness and one headlight alignment. I just don't have the time to sort it at the moment and have moved to a Ute for my work at the moment. Drives very well. I'll be sad to see it go. noggin1 (246 • Wednesday, 10 December 2025 )Hi all, I have added pictures now. Seller comment Sunday, 14 December 2025 Hi. Do you have two keys and does the air conditioning work and blow cold ? Thank you. razzum1 (247 • 10:25 pm, Wed, 24 Dec )Hi I have one key for the car and the AC is working fine both hot and cold. cheers. noggin1 (246 • Wednesday, 24 December 2025 )When did the wof and rego expire? More than a month ago? Would it likely need a tow truck, even though it's safe to drive? malmcal (155 • 11:55 am, Thu, 25 Dec )Both maybe about 4-6 months ago. I just didn't have time to organize any repairs. The car drives well, so can easily be driven anywhere in the country - it just would not be legal without the warrant and rego of course - so totally up to you how you would like to transport it or drive it. I hope that helps. noggin1 (246 • Thursday, 25 December 2025 )Got a quote for the repairs needed? kiwibro187 (0 • 7:07 pm, Fri, 26 Dec )I haven’t at this stage. The items are in the pictures.
