2007 Alfa Romeo 159 2 2 JTS Sportwagon, 87kms, 6spd manual
Background check
Description
Happy to negotiate on price.
2007 Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon. 87000 kms. Argento (silver), 6 speed manual (NOT a Selespeed!)
I have just bought another 159 (a Tbi sedan) so this is now surplus.
I am the 3rd private owner since 2021 (the other owner was a dealer). I have receipts of all work done since I took ownership. Previous owner replaced timing chain at 64k kms.
New spark plugs 2023.
I put in a 2nd hand steering rack last year.
Just fixed issues with power steering leak with professionally refurbished hose (including restrictors) and new reservoir.
Leaking fluid had compromised the power steering belt and drive belt so they were both replaced at the same time.
Also just replaced both lower control arms after play found in the right lower control arm's bushes.
Low mileage for its age. All owners seem to have done below average but consistent kms.
Fair condition. Body has a few scrapes. Pics show a couple of damage areas when a truck backed onto the guard and scrape around tail light.
Toyo Proxes all round. New tyres on front. Rears are a year old circa 6k mileage.
Comes with two functional keys and manuals.
Car features reversing sensors, 10 disc cd changer in boot, auto wipers, auto headlights, fog lights (recently replaced), dual zone climate control, cruise control, retractable parcel shelf, lots of storage in boot. Rear seats fold down almost flat. Roof rails to accommodate roof racks.
Extremely solid and safe car, very stiff chassis, fun to drive.
Questions & Answers
Does the power steering make an noise after the new hoses etc? Whines and hum? foobe (175 • 12:16 am, Sun, 11 Jan )I've managed to avoid that. When taking the original hose apart, the refurbisher kept the restrictors and reinstalled them. You are welcome to take it for a test drive to check it out.
