Description
Great, tidy little car. It was imported from Australia in 1999. Has had recent paint and upholstery work done by previous owner. Runs and sounds like an alfa should! Reluctant sale but simply do not have time to use it.
Questions & Answers
I will try and upload some clearer photographs Seller comment Monday, 9 February 2026 Clearer images now uploaded Seller comment Friday, 13 February 2026 I thought the 1980 onwards ti had twin carbs??? peakfarmservice (6 • 3:37 pm, Sun, 15 Feb )I don’t know the answer to if that’s the case stratts48 (127 • Sunday, 15 February 2026 )This is an early iteration of the last Ti model, often called a series 2.5. The fully loaded last version with Ti fabric, red carpet and 105hp twin-carbed engine was the Green Cloverleaf or Ti QV. tintin6 (370 • 12:31 am, Wed, 18 Feb )Thank you for the clarification stratts48 (127 • Wednesday, 18 February 2026 )NZ supplied series 3 1.5 Ti's had the twin carb engine. This car was sold new in Aus and they retained the single carb motor. sprint_veloce (73 • 10:51 pm, Wed, 18 Feb )Thank you for the input, much appreciated stratts48 (127 • Wednesday, 18 February 2026 )With respect to above comment, it's incorrect. There's plenty of Australia-new twin carbed S3 Ti cars in Aus. And quite a few S1 & 2. This is a lower-powered/trim version preceding the final ever Sud Ti, the QV. tintin6 (370 • 10:19 pm, Sun, 22 Feb )It sounds like you know your alfas tintin! stratts48 (127 • Sunday, 22 February 2026 )This auction is no place to discuss historical details of Alfasuds. But Alfasud Ti's sold new in Aus did not receive the twin carb engine until 1983. Of course many of these have subsequently fitted with twin carb motors by their owners. To bring the discussion back to this auction and car, there should be a plate on the right side inner wheel arch which will show various details including Tipo Motore. Can the seller confirm it's there, and what the number is? sprint_veloce (73 • 4:54 pm, Sun, 1 Mar )
