Description

Selling my Audi A3, reluctantly, as a repair project or parts vehicle.

This has been a really fun car to drive — it sticks to the road, feels planted, and has that solid Audi handling that makes everyday driving genuinely enjoyable. I’ve loved owning it, but I’m no longer in a position to invest further money into repairs.

The car starts, runs and drives, but has been parked since the issue was diagnosed so it hasn’t been driven unnecessarily or risked further damage.

Highlights * High-spec model * Bose sound system * Red leather interior * All tyres replaced within the past year * Comfortable, solid, and confidence-inspiring on the road * Genuinely enjoyable handling and ride

Before the issue came up, it was a reliable and very enjoyable daily driver.

Known Issues

Air Conditioning Fault * Diagnosed as a leaking pressure switch * Replacement part is approx. $180 * Workshop invoice totalled ~$1,020, which included labour, refrigerant, evacuation and testing * Someone repairing this themselves, or using a cheaper workshop, could fix this for significantly less

PCV System Fault * PCV system requires replacement * Approximate estimate: * ~$1,500 for the part * ~$1,500 labour if done by a workshop

Because of the above, the car is being sold as a repair project, not a finished daily driver.

Important Info * Starts and runs * Parked since diagnosis to avoid further damage * Sold as-is, where-is * No warranty given or implied * Buyer to arrange inspection and transport if required * Happy to provide invoices and diagnostic info to serious buyers

This would suit a mechanic, workshop, project buyer, or parts.

It’s a great car with a lot going for it, just needs someone in a better position to take it further.

Please only enquire if you understand this is a repair/project vehicle. Happy to answer genuine questions.
