1936 Austin Austin 10 10/4
Description
A classic pre-war English car.
This lovely little lady has been in dry storage for the past 30 years.
The owner has succumbed to cancer earlier this year and I am selling this car on behalf of Marie, his widow.
Marie realises that that there is a fair bit of work to be done to turn this car into the wee gem it can become. With this in mind she has set a very realistic start price in this auction and invites you to be the new owner with budget left over for the restoration work.
As you will see from the pictures this car requires quite a bit of love to return it to its former glory.
The engine does turn over with the crank handle so that is a plus. The generator is missing.
If you are the kind of person looking for a project and have a passion for English engineering then this might be what you have been waiting for.
Registration expired in 1996. The 75,000Km is a bit of a guess.
It was used regularly by the owner up until 1995 approximately.
Inspection is welcome.
Questions & Answers
Do you know if it would fit on a standard 8x4 trailer or if a transporter would be required? dieseldog4 (240 • 8:27 am, Thu, 15 Jan )I think you will need a car transport trailer rather than a normal trailer.
