Rare 1936 export model NZ excellent club and art deco car. Older restoration but really tidy, little scratches in places but looks good at any distance. Interior re upholstered including roof lining. All windows rubbers good. 2022 engine work included rings, hone, skim etc plus 4 new exhaust valves. guide liners and hardened valve seats (good for unleaded fuel). A relined clutch was fitted at the time. It had a replacement head, also reconditioned plus new head gasket, top hose etc. Amazingly this car had std pistons and a perfect bore. Questions & Answers
Can you tell me if it has 18mm or 14mm spark plugs? Thanks. arthurmartha (59 • 1:54 pm, Sun, 15 Mar )Hi, 14mm spark plug. I'm using NGK 4210 - B5HS. Cheers:) j.g. (103 • Sunday, 15 March 2026 )18mm plugs means your car was made in the first 6 months of 1936, same as mine. I use Champion D16 plugs, probably cheaper, and available from your local Seagull outboard dealer. Good luck with the sale! arthurmartha (59 • 2:55 pm, Mon, 16 Mar )Thank you for the advice, they are a great car:) j.g. (103 • Monday, 16 March 2026 )
