1969 Austin Gipsy G4 SWB

Looking for a 1968/1969 Austin Gipsy G4? This is a ultra rare vintage 4x4 with plenty of character. It features a 2.9-litre I6 petrol engine (repowerd with a Austin Wolsley 6/110 and is fully certified) with new 1 year w.o.f and rego.

This belonged to my Grandfather since the 70's and was handed on to me about 7 years ago. I have put an unimaginable about of money and time into full body off frame restoration along with complete new wiring and electrical. Have left no stone unturned on this and very proud of it and have MANY photos of its journey along with photos of it in its younger days.

This Gipsy is hands down maybe one of the best ones in the country and has lived in a shed most its life, and everything is in good working order. It's a real eye-catcher on the road and starts alot of great conversations at the shops ect. These were Austin's answer to the Land Rover – tough off-roaders built to last.

This Gipsy also comes with an endless amount of spares (waaaaay too many to list), spare guards, doors, tail gate, ute roof (in case you like that style better), original rims with chrome hub caps, other body parts, theres a few PTO's in case you want to add one of those for a winch, brand new engine and drive-train spares (Granddad bought the entire parts inventory when the dealer closed down) and the list goes on....

If you're after something with real classic charm and turns alot of heads, this Austin might be just what you're looking for. These are very rare, especially in this condition. It breaks my heart to even list this thing and said I would never sell it, however another project with equal sentimental value has come along and I really need the space.
