1979 Austin Mini

BLMC Leyland Classic Mini Mk3 1979 (!) Just recently finished getting it back on the road, full motor and clutch rebuild. Grab yourself an old school classic. I've done around 15km in it to run it in. Rego on hold. I've gone as far as I can on the resto and now I'll pass it over to a new owner, serious offers welcome.

Specifications:

• Rebuilt 998cc Motor, c/w receipts (20thou over). Total 15km run in
• 1.5" carby
• 'New' clutch pack
• 'New' water pump
• New front brakes + bushes
• British motor racing green, white/silver roof (underlying purple?)
• New 12" (12x6.5") deep dish alloys + new tyres ($1,000)
• Original VG condition mini seats installed (I'm 6.3" and fit comfortably). Possible spares.
• Original mint low back leather mini front seats incl.
• recon (?) Brake booster
• New front brake lines + shoes
• New red carpet all round
• Sports Steering Wheel + original "bus" wheel
• Seat belts all round
• Spare 4x 10" biscuit wheels + hubcaps (for WoF)
• Brand new battery 2025
• Chrome washers squirters
• Electrics work; horn, wipers, lights, indicators, fan unit (not much else is there?!)
• Chrome racing pedals + Chrome gear knob
• spares galore with purchase (flare arches, glass, carpet)
• New plywood parcel shelves

• New front panel and new spray paint to match by panel beater + rust removal
• Sills checked and filled up with antirust gunk by panelbeater

Whilst I've lavished money on the mechanics, there is still a small project for someone;

• The paint is average, yet to clay bar and polish it - might resolve it?
• Rust bubbles/paint imperfections
• Air vents need surrounds installed (incl.)
• Dash has crack in crashpad
• Cigarette lighter / USB charger to be installed (quoted $50)
