2009 BMW 116i - a compact hatchback with the 1 Series driving experience. RELISTED DUE TO A TIME WASTER It's fitted with a 1.6-litre engine paired with an auto gearbox, making it easy to drive around town or on longer trips. The 5-seat layout offers a practical amount of space, and it comes with an alarm for added security.
Being honest, this car needs some work. It's been a decent runner up until a month ago. Advised by my mechanic that a new Timing chain was needed, however I have replaced the chain myself but still needs work to get it up and running. I do not have the time to sort. Happy to talk through work already done. "Car does start up but has a noise I believe could be due to the oil chain as I noticed it had a bit of play whilst I was changing Timing chain but obviously not 100 percent sure. Also replaced level sensor for oil level, Tappet cover gasket and comes with sump gasket. Oil chain can be sourced through Only Euro Australia for $45 aussie plus $20.60 freight.
The 1 Series is known for its rear-wheel drive setup, which gives it a more engaging feel compared to many other small hatchbacks. This one has potential if you're willing to put in a bit of effort.
