A reluctant sale, my 1987 BMW E30 325i M-Tech 1 coupe. Only selling as I’m moving to Australia. A rare, hard to find example. The car turns heads every time it leaves the garage, from its looks or the sound of the 2.5L straight-six. It has that classic pre-facelift chrome bumper styling paired with the full body kit, window tints and smoked/clear light covers. A strong running M20B25 with minor performance upgrades and excellent throttle response. The straight-six really comes alive in the upper revs. Classic BMW analogue feel with stable handling. Original interior is tidy for its age. FEATURES 2.5L BMW M20B25 straight-six engine, twin exhaust, coupe body, factory M-Tech 1 body kit, pre-facelift chrome bumpers, grey houndstooth interior, sunroof, original BMW stereo (not installed), M-Tech-1 steering wheel ADDITIONS -Converted from auto to manual: 5-speed 240 GETRAG, short shifter -Strut brace, heavy duty clutch, chipped, 540i injectors, replaced head(112k), K&N intake (plus stock airbox), BBS basketweave replicas, racing harnesses (stock seatbelts still installed), better speakers, soundproofing, immobiliser (prof install) PROS -Tread on tyres, newish brake pads/discs, extensively maintained and improved during my ownership since 2014 with all documented expenditure, garaged for last 10 years, full records/receipts from 2005 -Tidy, tasteful upgrades, slight performance enhancements while remaining reliable, relatively stock and unmolested CONS -Driver door lock iffy, separate key for ignition and boot/doors, drivers window motor dead, exterior paint not perfect when viewed up close in areas, same for the wheel clear coat, sunroof taped (no leaks), no known structural rust issues but rust in the sunroof cradle -Heavy duty clutch: Not for anyone who isn't confident with a stick shift
