1996 BMW 328i

1996 BMW 328i Coupe (E36) - Silver Up for grabs is my 1996 328i. It’s a classic silver coupe that looks the part, goes like a dream, and has just enough "90s character" to keep your life interesting.

The Good Bits:

The Heart: The engine is rock solid. It’s sitting at 206,000kms (may go up slightly) and hasn't missed a beat. It’s smooth and healthy.

The Look: Just had an M3 rep mirror set and an LTW wing painted and installed.

The Stopping Power: Brand new pads and slotted rotors on all four corners.

Modern Comforts: Fitted with an aftermarket Apple CarPlay headunit, so you can have 2026 tech in a 1996 cockpit.

WOF: Valid until Feb.

The "Character" (The Not-so-good bits):

The Interior: The headliner has surrendered to gravity and is sagging. The sunroof portion is currently off completely—though, in a rare twist of fate for an E36, the sunroof mechanism actually works perfectly.

The Mystery: There is a parasitic draw on the battery. If you leave it for a few days, it likes to take a nap. Think of it as the car’s way of telling you that you aren't driving it enough.

The Furniture: Will be sold with factory seats and the factory steering wheel.

Expansion Pack: I have a stash of parts that can be negotiated into the deal to truly transform this car:

Scorpion Catback Exhaust: $950 (Brand new in box)

Lower Ratio Diff: $300 (Currently has a 3.94 in it which is great for acceleration, but this is here if you want to cruise)

Freebies: I’ll throw in the factory side markers, factory mirrors, and amber tail lights for free if you want to revert to that stock-standard look.

This is a pretty "OK" condition car that is a few weekend projects away from being a total stunner. Perfect for someone who wants a healthy base to build a legendary E36. Sold as is where is.
