Reluctantly offering my 2008 BMW M3 E90 for sale.

This is a UK-import, 6-speed manual car finished in Silverstone II, with 117,000 km, 2 keys, strong paperwork, and the right maintenance already taken care of.

For anyone looking at an E9x M3 properly, this is the important part:

Rod bearings just done by Euro MD Throttle actuators replaced and fixed permanently with uprated internal gears All coil packs replaced Near-new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Full Valvetronic exhaust from headers back High-flow catalytic converters EDC PDC Has had euro plates fitted since. Pictures don't show the new exhaust.

This is the only generation of M3 with the naturally aspirated 4.0L S65 V8, and in manual E90 form it is a rare combination of analogue M-car feel, practicality, and proper long-term enthusiast appeal.

The car was my daily for a number of years, including motorway commuting, so it does have some honest use-related marks. There are stone chips consistent with that use, and the worst cosmetic issue is a cut in the front lip of the bumper. I have details for a repairer who can sort this easily. These points are reflected in the asking price.

Mechanically, it presents as a very well-sorted car with the major ownership concerns already addressed. That is a big part of the value here. Anyone serious about buying an E9x M3 will understand the significance of the rod bearing and actuator work, especially with supporting paperwork and full service history.

The Valvetronic system and high-flow-cat setup give the S65 the sound and character it should have, without turning the car into something cheap or compromised. Combined with the manual gearbox, it is a very engaging car to drive and getting harder to replace in this sort of condition and spec.
