1994 BMW M8 CSi

This is the 1994 British Press Car and is featured on Youtube from the original top gear episode where Jeremy Clarkson glowingly reviewed it. ( Link added) It is Orient Blau and was sold afterwards its Press Reviews by Damon Hill BMW. She has had engine work done on her as maintenance only with oil carriers locked and a semi race clutch, lighter flywheel and short shifter. She has got upgraded suspension mounts and Phoenix Motorsport Ignition Coils. Further to that … she has Turner 850CSi chipset which really livens her up in both Comfort and Sport Modes and means her top speed is unlimited by the electronics , 300 km/hr is possible. The previous owner, a superyacht designer, upgraded the sound system with a KENWOOD Video/Audio head unit and an Alpine 700watt Class D Power amp driving upgraded inbuilt speakers and a large Subwoofer cleverly concealed and fitted into the Ski Bag area between the rear seats . Great sound from that and also the exhaust which is a custom stainless steel race exhaust built for the Green Goddess at a cost of around £7000 back in the day. She doesn’t sound too loud but does definitely sound more authoratative than any of my other 8’s except of course my old M8 tribute race car Venus. She has electronic stealth features built into her and Sat/Nav which have served me well (current map loaded for NZ but previously UK and Europe). Currently the odo is at 147,000 miles and she still drives young and fresh . The only fault is that the sunroof is sticky and needs a service and perhaps the track or gear wheel replaced with a metal one which are now available ). I will get her out of the barn next week in preparation for sale and will update the listing then . Offers are welcome and the price is negotiable.
