2004 BMW Z4

Please excuse any typos, I’m fighting back the tears as I write this! I bought a new boat and the missus said, ‘You can buy it, but you’ve got to get rid of some of your toys to pay for it!’. I said, ‘If we sold some of your toys, I’d have a decent drawer for my socks!’.

Anyway, the show must go on. I know everybody says this, and it is a bit of a cliché, but for good reason, this is a difficult one to sell, because it absolutely is my pride and joy. I’ve driven many amazing cars over my life, but when I look at the performance and handling of this, relative to the cost, this has to be one of the best cars I’ve driven.

When people say a car handles like it’s on rails, this is like one of those monorails where it's hooked and can’t fall off. Low to the ground and with the power coming through the 19” 255mm wide wheels at the back, it drives like a race car. The body kit gives it a unique styling.

A great example of a BMW Z4 - the 2004 model with a 3.0-litre petrol engine. This two-seater convertible offers an enjoyable driving experience with its automatic transmission. Being an imported vehicle, it has had four owners in New Zealand.

The car is in great condition, showing it's been well cared for, with just a little wear, such as the driver’s seat shown in the photos.
