1959 Cadillac Fleetwood

1959 Cadillac Series 60 Fleetwood: the flagship model and with more chrome than any Caddy produced that year ... infact ANY year. Four-door, pillarless hardtop and only 12,250 ever made.

Owned her for over 20 years and gauging interest. She's on the market, however if I don't get my price or very near offer, I'll be keeping her. So spare me your stupid offers: you won't get a response.

• Engine: 390 cubic inch (6.4L) Overhead Valve V8.
• 71,000 Miles.
• Power steering, power brakes, power windows, power aerial and power seat adjustment.
• Four-speed braked auto-transmission.
• Some years back had full head job done and new Edelbrock carburettor installed, halving fuel consumption.
• Five new white wall radial tyres (includes spare in trunk).
• Electronic ignition installed.
• New CD player in glove compartment. New speaker replaced old one and a new one still in the box will come with car. Original Wunderbar radio still cranks and can play a few AM stations.

Otherwise car is original and has not been messed with. She runs nicely, is road legal (and has been for many years) and has new WOF and rego. The original easy-eye blue glass is a real feature and matches the Conchord Blue Upholstery. The colour of the car is Dover White.

I have spare hubcaps that I might be willing to sell seperately.

CONS AND THINGS THAT NEED FIXING:

• Air conditioning isn't working at present but can be fixed. I just never got around to it.
• Autronic-Eye (auto-dimming headlights) has never worked since I've had it and was told by an auto-sparky it's probably not worth putting money into it.
• Upholstery is tired and on drivers side is perishing/ripped. Carpet also needs replacing.
