2005 Chevrolet C1500 Avalanche

Parting ways with my 2005 Chevrolet 4WD Avalanche, a spacious ute that's well-suited for drivers wanting room and capability. As an imported model, I'm one of three New Zealand owners.

It has a 5.3-litre petrol engine paired with an auto gearbox, which provides good power when you need it. The selectable 4WD system is effective for handling different road conditions, making it a solid choice for various driving situations.

One of the standout features is just how spacious it is - there's plenty of room for passengers and gear, which makes it practical for weekend trips or hauling larger items. The reversing camera is a useful addition that helps with parking and manoeuvring, especially given the size of the vehicle.

It's in great condition overall, especially for a 20/21 year old vehicle. Everybody is very surprised when they are told the age of the ute. It has been serviced when required.
