1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
Description
This beauty was Motor Trend's Car of the Year for 1982 for one reason and one reason alone: PERFORMANCE. With a robust 5.0-liter (305-cubic-inch) V-8 in its carbureted version that easily harnesses over 160 hp and over 280 lb-ft of torque with a three-speed lockup automatic transmission, it's easy to see why the 3rd-generation 1982 Camaro Z28 was on everybody's lists that year. Indeed, the Z28 served as the pace car for the 1982 Indianapolis 500.
This one was imported and first registered in New Zealand in 1987...and promptly put to rest in a farmer's barn for the next 20 years. It has now been rescued and restored to glory with the following additions: Newly wrapped in black and gold gloss (over original factory red) New battery, tyres, re-sandblasted and painted rims, new tow bar Newly upholstered front bucket and rear bench seats New carpets, headliner, side panels and boot liner New sound system with bass booster Functioning heater, no A/C Restored T-Top
Vinned, newly re-complied and WOFed, this gem is set for many more years of exhilarating driving fun.
