1971 Chevrolet Other First Generation Monte Carlo

Sad to move her on, but my time is not doing her justice here. Bought and drove her a good many years, but the engine went on me. I bought the new 454ci (description in the original post where I bought it) to drop in and make a clone SS. Not many in New Zealand. She's an original '71 Chev Monte Carlo, first generation, numbers matching, with the build sheet included (I suspect there is a second one under the passenger seat too). Based on the Kapiti Coast.
The original 402 (which is the blown one) is included to keep the numbers going, but this will need to be rebuilt. TH 400 auto transmission is smooth as, and with power steering, she is easy and very comfortable to drive. Original AC is still installed. I have a fresh rebuilt 454 (Cost $12K) ready to be dropped in there, with plenty of extras to go along, new 4 barrel Holly carb and HEI distributor. All the other original parts off the car will go along with the car. Car can be viewed by appointment, as it is in a lockup garage. I have prepped the engine bay already, and will keep working on her as I have the time. Happy to answer questions. Only looking for a sale, not swopping.
