1964 Chrysler 300
Background check
Description
Up for sale is my 1964 Chrysler 300 Hardtop Sedan.
Rolled off the line on 8 January 1964.
I've owned it since February 2024, previous owner since 2011 when it arrived in NZ from Louisiana where it was sold new and had 2 owners there.
74k miles, believed to be first time around. Obviously can't guarantee that but condition would back it up.
Paint and bodywork believed to be 1964 original and in true excellent survivor condition. Brightwork in excellent condition. Apart from a repair on the drivers seat and the insert on the passenger seat, interior is also all original and simply stunning. Gets plenty of comments at shows.
383 big block, never been apart, runs very strong with the famous Torqflite push-button auto. 600 Holley with manual choke, Weiand intake Tuned to run on 98/100 RON which is all I've ever used. Front disc brake conversion and lap belts all round, all certified. New rotors, pads and brake fluid. Custom made block-hugger headers from Custom Chambers and full new exhaust system New MSD ignition system Genuine California-made Ansen finned valve covers New belts and hoses thoughout Dodge Rallye rims colour-matched to interior (14" front, 15" rear)
Upholstery work and re-cert for rear belts Original clock and Golden Tone AM radio still work!! Custom made embroidered seat covers for both rows Comes with boxes of spares, the original hubcaps (no rims) and a service history almost the size of a phone book along with loads of factory and period literature. 2010 Louisiana Mopar Nationals show winner
There's about 14k of receipts from my ownership alone. Any queries, feel free.
No money owing, no warranty/guarantee expressed or implied. This is a 62 year old car - it'll need something sometime.
No pressure to sell, have my eye on something else.
