Description
Citroen Light 15 - Traction Avant front-wheel drive that was ahead of its time READ AS THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT The car is currently not assembled and is in parts for a restoration project Due to a change in circumstances and a need for room a call has been made to sell it As Is The bonnet and guards have been prepared and primed ready for finishing. The prior owner had it for around 30 years The engine was apparently re conditioned 25 years ago and had little use since as it was hardly driven Prior to my purchase around 5 years ago it had been in covered storage in a shed for 10 years and off the road The lead photo is the car at the time I purchased it prior to being taken apart The second photo is of the car in its original form prior to going into storage
The speedometer shows just over 25,000 km but I can not accurately tell how far it has really travelled When purchased the engine, clutch and gearbox worked well The electrics and brakes needed a full overhaul so these issues will need to be addressed The tyres I can not guarantee are compliant due to the age and condition I have sourced and are currently selling on Trade Me a full new set of Michelin tyres with a reserve of $2,000 at time if listing. The new owner may wish to consider purchasing if still available The body is currently mounted in the workshop on a Pro Twirler Plus rotisserie Making working on the car a pleasure This is can be purchased for $900 additional if you want it
