1950 Citroen Light 15

This is my passed grandfathers ancient 1950 Citroen Light 15/Traction Avant.

I inherited this car just over 2 years ago in a not- running condition and have spent time, money, effort and more on getting it back together and running. She is far from perfect, however you try to not expect perfect from 75+ years of life.

The interior is in good condition, and the front seats I think are from a 90's Toyota corolla, with the back seat being the original seat restored. Under the hood is the 4 cylinder terror that makes a whopping 11Hp on a good day, it seems to run well and I have reconditioned the water pump to make sure it continues to run.

This car has been on many rallies with the Citroen Car club, and has spent may many Kms running up and down the country. It has seen more of NZ roads than most people will and I don't have the writing ability to tell all the stories this car has to share.

The things I've changed on this car to get it running is pretty simple, I've put an exhaust on it from a Nissan Quashqai, a new electric fuel pump with blockoff for the manual one, and a cable based throttle as the original setup got bent and broken at some point during this cars history.

I will also provide a physical owners manual and repair manual with this car.

Car runs, drives and the rego is on hold, in theory she can go for a WoF and see what it fails on. If you have any questions or wish to see the vehicle, it is based in Kaiwaka, and viewings are available in the afternoons, or Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
