OK, bought this non rolling barn find back in 2022 as a full-on project . Spent way too much money on resto, but, I DID IT MY WAY.
ALERT! this is NOT a concours d'elegance car, as you can clearly see in the photos. I can supply the full resto story via email to anyone seriously interested. Briefly, full body strip back on rotisserie, remove all rust, new welded panels, all done under inspection, full paint- prime, undercoat & finish coat. Cavity wax. Engine disassemble & reassemble with alternator, SU carb, electronic distributor, new rad, electric fan, new wiring, incl all LED's. new seat upholstery, new interior lining, new brakes all round, re-certified & re-registered.
Goes very well, and done quite a few miles, all trouble free.
(Kaiwaka to Napier over a weekend, various trips around the North) almost my daily driver, if I didnt have 2 other vehicles as well.
Time for my next project now, so away she goes.
