2002 Daihatsu Hijet Ex-Fire Truck

Selling my 2002 Daihatsu Hijet S210P kei truck. Ex-Fire Truck from Himeji in Hyogo prefecture in Japan. Only 13,393 original km at time of posting, verified odometer. 660cc 3-cyl EF-SE engine, 5 spd Manual transmission.

I’m the first NZ owner and it was imported in 2024 with only 7500km. The pumping unit was removed and converted back to standard folding bed sides by the importing dealer at that time.

This truck is super clean, almost like new inside, outside, and underneath. I’ve done some regular maintenance, and had the timing belt inspected recently. 5 brand new tyres fitted last year (including the full size spare). Everything works as it should and is wonderful to drive. 100-110 on the motorway is no problem, I’ve driven it down to Napier and back with 2 people and 2 small motorcycles in the back with no problems. Gearing is short, which makes climbing or descending hills a breeze. Push button 4wd switchable on the fly.

I’ve made a few small upgrades, including a Momo Prototipo 330mm steering wheel (stock one included), rubber bed rail protectors, window visors, and tie down hooks in the tray. Comes with original cab guard/lights mount which I removed due to rattling from it, english owners manual, full service history, and extra oil filter.

Located in Royal Oak, Auckland, but can bring out to my work in Pukekohe if easier for a potential buyer. Price is firm, you will not find a nicer one!
