Description
A barn find Daimler Soverign, of the road for 25 years, very straight no structural rust, but plenty of surface rust. The engine runs beautifully, car moves under its own power, both tanks hold fuel, brakes not working properly. Upholstery is excellent and comes with genuine wire wheels ( bolt on ). Rego is DEAD. Radiator is missing, and some idiot has cut the hoses, everything else appears to be present. An excellent base for a restoration or a driver with patina! Sensible questions please.

What is the underside like for rust? Is everything bar the radiator there to complete? Are the brakes working well enough to drive onto a transporter? Aside from the brakes, do you know what else it would need for a WOF? yellowflower1 (174 • 6:11 pm, Sat, 6 DecNo rust on the underside, has a stainless exhaust too, seems like everything there apart from rad and the top member that retains it. Use the handbrake to stop it, that works. Rear windscreen is not held in very securely either. Do you have a closeup photo of the gauge cluster and the odometer reading? Also, you mentioned that the engine runs but there is no cooling and braking can be done using the handbrake. The car will run perfectly long enough to drive on to a transporter, rh fuel pump is working fine. Engine sounds really good.
