1996 Fiat Punto Cabriolet Elx

A collectable practical fun classic, with most parts available and cheap

Fiat Bertone punto 1996, 125000km (kms will go up slightly as still being driven)

will have new wof and rego

needs a buff, & some minor paint touchups, which will be be done as part of listed price

Done recent; Front and back brakes fully rebuilt, with all new components, new discs and pads on front, including brand new handbrake cables and brakes bled, so like new now.Timing belt

better pics soon, some have a red tint, but paint is fine on car,other than needing mainly a buff due to some fading

very collectable practical classic, I understand were only about 250 built of the cabriolet these sell for 10 to 20k in UK in tidy condition.

Price is very low, as we in NZ in a recession, and prefer to move it on and et somebody else enjoy it

176 model, with more desirable 1600cc A9 engine sohc fuel injected

"Bertone" design, built in their factory (Bertone famous designers for those who don’t know, designed first Lamborghini & many other renowned cars) Build quality will be better than the hard top puntos as was built by Bertone

The "A" windscreen pillars area about three times stronger than the whole car, something like that from memory, designed to handle a rollover

all the badges etc are on it and good condition incl the "b" to indicate "bertone"

Black side mouldings need a bit of sorting though, and easy to do, are ok, but could be tidied a bit more

top has some small wear throughs, still good for years, can get new, many styles, and doesnt leak
