2017 Ford Everest Titanium
Background check
Description
If you’ve got a busy family, a pile of gear, and in need of a ‘family-hauler’, this might be your next best decision.
We’re selling our 2017 Ford Everest Titanium 4WD, 159,000km, and very much part of the family since 2019. My wife does not want to sell it, which probably tells you more about the car than any brochure ever will.
It’s been looked after like the favourite child: always garaged, always serviced on time by the local Ford dealership, cleaned and polished regularly. Mechanically it’s been rock solid – no dramas, no warning light soap operas, just diesel, Adblue, services, and go.
Inside, it’s in excellent nick. The leather is in great shape, no mystery stains or kid carnage. The rear seats barely look like they’ve been used (they have – kids, friends, lunchboxes, the lot).
The 7-seater setup is absolutely brilliant. Need to move a swarm of kids to sport, parties, or school events? Easy. Dogs? Yes, them as well! Need to escape them and load the back with bikes, camping gear, chilly bins and all the “just in case” stuff? Drop the seats flat and it turns into a gear cave + kennel.
It’s full-time 4WD, so it’s just as happy on a wet highway as it is on a metal road to the campsite or backing down a slippery boat ramp. Brand new Falken A/T tyres on the front and near-new on the rear – so you’re set there for a good while yet.
Towing? It’s got a tow bar with interchangeable 1 7/8" and 50mm balls. We’ve towed a horse float and a ski boat and it’s been brilliant – 3.2ltrs of grunt, nice and easy. Most of the time though, it’s been my wife’s daily – and she drives it like a nana (Just ask our kids).
We’re only selling because life is shifting around and all our kids now have cars of their own, so we can’t justify keeping two large vehicles.
If you’re after a genuinely cared-for Everest Titanium that’s done family duty without being thrashed, and you want something that can carry the tribe, the dog, tow the toys and still scrub up nicely for dinner in town, flick me a message and come have a look.
