1986 Ford Laser GHIA

1986 Ford laser Ghia This car has been meticulously cared for since it was purchased from new! She's Nz new and still has the original purchase agreement invoice/papers when purchased new from, Hawke Motors Morrinsville. She has only travelled a mere 145,000kms. Most of that is travel to and from Town being located just out of Morrinsville. The interior is in very good condition with no rips in the seats doors or roof lining. It looks like how it did on the showroom floor in 1986! Being the "Ghia" model it has the upgraded options from factory like electric windows, power steering, rare as hens teeth rear window louvre! + the added bonus of a sunroof! Still has the original cassette radio and speakers. With that being said, the only downfall being the "cracks" in the dash which is a common problem in these older vehicles. The exterior presents well for 40 years old. The paint is original, all body panels are original with no history of accident damage or panel work being done. Good honest body with NO RUST. Presents well with no repairs, however the odd scuff mark here and there that will buff out but as expected being a 40 year old vehicle, she's in excellent nic. She has also got the factory upgraded mighty 1.5l strapped with the 5 speed manual transmission, she is very healthy & "peppy" and has a bit more grunt as opposed to the more common 1.3l variant. In the last 100kms the engine has had a New Full service including engine oil, transmission oil, new oil filter +fuel filter. Radiator flushed & topped up with new coolant. New sparkplugs, new sparkplug leads, new distributor & brake pads. It has always been looked after by the same mechanics for 40 years. This is a very well looked after vehicle. Has always been garaged. Is 100% original as it sits. Still has the original tyre from 1986 on the spare wheel! None of the tools nor jack have ever been used. Neither has the spare tyre. Would have to be one of the tidiest most Original, unmolested Ford Laser Ghia's in Nz
