1974 Ford LTD

1974 Ford LTD P5

Original matching nos. with virgin block (pretty sure) Survivor + Spares , Ford Australia’s flagship luxury V8 and one of the rarest Aussie sedans left in New Zealand. These don’t come up often — especially original, complete cars with model-specific spares included. My plans were to get WOF & take the kids out for rides & use it as a weekend Pub cruiser. Life got in the way & I now realise I will not get to give it the love it deserves :( ODO reads 97359 MILES - REGO ON HOLD - STARTS, DRIVES & STOPS - havent taken it out for a good drive as it's been in storage.

These all came out from factory as: 351 Clevo-FMX-9 inch LSD Disc brakes & factory tramp rods-XB GT Spec-Was told Ex Gov Car - still have the little radiator tag.

Complete and seems a pretty much rust free body & chassis apart from a bit behind rear bumper & bubbling under vinyl roof, bubble forming under paint in drivers door Missing top right rear door trim & front left guard hockey stick trim. Carpet was partially removed. I have spares to sort through - will update with a list Needs electric window switches fixed which I can supply from different model LTD The vaccum system for popup headlight covers is great and holds vacuum for many many days.

Paint is not bad for age considering - it's tidy enough to be a weekender ! Has a few minor scars & bruises - could be a lot worse. Headlights, tail lights, indicators & all markers are working - Starts easy running bit rough - could be old fuel and or needs a carb tune

Great project and really good base to get back to good running condition for weekend fun & for the price not too hard on the wallet if you can devote some time to it. Don't want to sell but I don't have the time it needs & money is needed for another venture.
