1964 Ford Thunderbird
Background check
Description
Parting ways with my 1964 Ford Thunderbird, which has been a joy to own. This imported American icon comes with the 6.4-litre V8 petrol engine that still runs beautifully.
The car is in very good condition for its age, with the interior and exterior well-preserved. It's easy to drive even though it's a large car, with power steering making it manageable around town.
It's a spacious vehicle with plenty of room for passengers, perfect for cruising in style. Having been well-maintained, it works well with everything functioning properly.
As an imported classic, I'm the third New Zealand owner, and it's been treated with the care a classic car deserves.
The mags are pretty large so the back arches rub on the wheels when carrying passengers. Car come with the old wheels so can be changed. I just liked the look to much.
The fuel gauge is not 100%. It floats between half full and empty even with a full tank. Have never got around to replacing this.
