It's 2008 Honda FD2 Civic Type R

Good things: The WOF expires in December 2026 It's white, as a Type R should be The engine is really strong, it's a real fun thing to rev out. It has had a tune and a full exhaust system by JTune in Auckland, see the picture of the dyno sheet and invoice Comes with a Hondata Flashpro if you want to fiddle with the ECU. I've never changed anything The exhaust isn't loud, but isn't muffled into nothing The gearbox has no crunches, it's good to use Otherwise it's mostly stock, as Mr Honda intended The interior is in good condition It's got automatic AC that blows nice and cold Mugen monsoon screens on the doors, probably genuine Nice new boots on the front spring dampers I've kept it well serviced in my ownership The backseat and boot space are surprisingly usable for a car of this size

Things you should know The tyres are cheap Hi-Fly brand tyres with an OK amount of tread. They are not bad, but they are kinda noisy That carbon Mugen cover on the engine is probably fake There are a few paint chips here and there, it's not immaculate

Bad things: The stereo works, but is pretty average I have the original mats, they are looking a bit sad The red paint has started to come off the rocker cover The left rear passenger door is a ever-so-slightly different shade of white, It must have got resprayed at some point. It's one of those "once you see it, you can't un-see it" things. The left headlight has a bit of misting in it, I guess a seal has failed and some moisture has crept in. It doesn't bother me much and it functions fine

Other things: I got the car in September 2021 I'm selling it because I'm going travelling for awhile, I don't have anywhere to store it and I don't know when I'll be back. And just leaving a car parked for year or more isn't good for it. I'm keeping the plate because I think I'd like to buy another FD2 Type R one day

In my opinion the car is in an above average condition for it's age and mileage
