1988 Honda CRX Si with glass top

My Mum's beloved CRX is up for sale, the first time since she purchased it after it arrived from Japan in 1992. On paper there are 3 owners, my Mum's ex-husband's company, her, and myself. She didn't have all the $10,000 it cost to purchase back then, so he gave her the money as long as it went into his company's name. When she left him, he put it into her name. Now it is in my name. Not a lot of mileage has been added since Mum became legally blind many years ago and since a family tragedy in 2015. There is a lot of history in this "little darling" (as my Mum calls her). We have decided to let her go due to needing the garage space. My Mum is moving in with us after suffering a stroke at Christmas time. She has been fully serviced for all these years. And we thank Maungatapu Motors for their service and looking after her so well. She has a new battery, has a fresh warrant and registration. A new seat belt in the back seat has just been fitted to pass the warrant. Also a stone chip repair to the windscreen. She has just had a full valet, inside and out. All windows had the security of the number plate etched into them many years ago. Has had the 'upgrade' of a Pioneer CD player and radio many years ago. The back seat (upright part) has been reupholstered. There are a couple of cracks in the top of the dash. Also one near the boot key hole. The passenger window is a bit funky in its function. We have not had this looked at. See the photo of a 'not so classy' paint job at the front right side wheel. Many years ago also, there was a non-Honda repair in the motor (we think it was the starter motor), and this then has made her not recognise it and hence the orange motor 'check' light comes on now and again. There might be a few other little 'things' I have forgotten to mention. She is fun to drive and still turns heads... and makes for conversation starters. She will be missed, but we hope she will go to a loving new home.
