Looking for a hatchback? This 2014 Honda Insight is a practical hybrid that's been a great commuter and family car.

I'm the second New Zealand owner of this imported Honda. It runs the 1.3-litre hybrid engine paired with an auto gearbox, which makes it easy to drive and very fuel efficient - a real bonus for daily use or longer trips.

It's spacious inside with room for passengers and gear, making it practical for various needs. The hybrid system works well, helping to keep running costs down without any fuss.

It's in good working order and has been reliable throughout my ownership. The odometer shows it's covered a fair amount, but it's been well looked after and continues to run as it should.

Averaging 19.2 kms per litre (5.2 litres per 100km) with mixed town and highway use, not trying to be economic . Achieved just over 27kms per litre (3.7 litres per 100km) on a trip, making a conscious effort to drive as economical as possible . full size spare wheel, and a good tyre . 2 new front tyres, less than 50 kms old . new 12volt battery last year . Loved this car, possibly the best buy ever. . Only selling as I also have a 4wd SUV which am also selling to reduce to 1 vehicle, probably a hybrid van, with tow-bar . Range 900kms on 32 litres normal driving, town & highway. . Paint very tidy, not perfect, seats, headlining good.

Runs smoothly & reliably, uses no oil.
