2014 Honda Vezel hybrid has been a solid choice for getting around. I'm a mature woman and the first New Zealand owner. I have loved this car. Alas, I have upgraded to a full EV and must pass it on.

The 1.5-litre hybrid engine paired with the auto gearbox makes it easy to drive and genuinely fuel-efficient, which has been great for keeping running costs down. The hybrid system works well in town and on longer trips.

It comes fitted with a reversing camera which helps with parking, and there's a tow bar already installed for lighter towing needs. The cabin is spacious enough for passengers and gear, making it a practical option whether you're commuting or heading away for the weekend.

It's in good working order and has been totally reliable. The odometer shows it's had regular use, but it's been well looked after and hasn't given me any major issues apart from fitting new tyres and a new 12v battery recently.
