1998 Jaguar Sovereign

I have owned this car (V8 4.0 LWB Sovereign) since it was imported from Singapore in 2004, both through my company and in my own name. It has been a really reliable daily use car which has more recently had some regular return trips Queenstown - Invercargill return, including more remote parts of Southland. Unfortunately I now have four Jaguars with garaging currently only for two, so I unhappily need to rationalise my "fleet". Needless to say that over my almost 22 year ownership my X308 has had all of it's services and had all the repairs it has required to remain a reliable regular form of transport. Because it has been used as a daily transport, it is not in concours condition, rather it's in good condition for it's age and drives and performs really well as the maintenance has been regular. It has had a ceramic coating plus a maintenance recoat last May. The last service including oil and filter etc were carried out in late September and has travelled less than 3,500km since. The car travelled 5,502km last year - I get them serviced annually because I feel it prudent to do so despite the low annual mileage. When I had the interior steam cleaned last year the door pocket linings were damaged - a perfectionist would have these redone. The steering wheel face shows wear as indicated in the picture and the centre console has a couple of age tears. I am happy to remedy these dependent on the price negotiated. Its a lovely car, if I had the garaging I would keep it as the shape and engine combination combine beauty with a reliability that earlier Jaguars struggled to match. I recently bought a super eight online without seeing it in the flesh.
