Description
2013 Jaguar XF 2.0 Turbo 8 Speed 139,xxxkms New WOF, new tires NZ new, 2 key fobs
Selling my XF as I’ve recently bought a 2 door coupe now that the kids are old enough to sort their own seatbelts out. Otherwise I’d happily keep it, this has genuinely been the most reliable car I’ve owned and excellent for family commute life while still being fun to drive.
2.0 turbo petrol with the 8 speed ZF automatic/paddle shift and black leather interior. Drives really nicely, smooth around town even on Christchurch roads and excellent on the open road. It’s a very comfortable place to spend time.
Deep red/maroon paint looks great and even better in the sun, and the much more sought after black leather interior is in great shape.
Fresh WOF just done with brand new tires fitted, tires were the only thing noted at inspection. will also be sold with 6 months registration.
The engine is the Ford 2.0 Ecoboost (not the problematic 1.6 or 2.3 variants people warn about). It’s a well proven motor used across a lot of Ford and Volvo models, and has been excellent for me. Good on fuel and surprisingly quick thanks to the ZF 8 speed transmission keeping the engine in its power band (or efficient zone when cruising). Jaguar squeezed a little more power from the engine than Ford or Volvo at 240hp and tuned the drivetrain really well, it feels refined but still sporty when you want it to, especially in paddle shift mode
The engine runs very smooth and quiet. Uses no fluids and performs as expected.
Tow bar professionally installed when I bought it (around $800). It tows really well and has been great for weekend garden jobs and bike rack duties. The tongue is removable so you don't always have to have it ruining the body style.
Overall it’s been a fantastic car, very reliable, comfortable, economical for its size and still something a bit different from the usual German options.
Happy to answer any questions. Viewing welcome and recommended.
