2014 Land Rover Discovery
Background check
Description
2014 Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE – Top Spec, Tuned, Excellent Condition
Top spec HSE model in great condition inside and out. Very tidy example with tasteful upgrades that improve reliability and performance.
EGR and DPF removed around 10,000 km ago, preventing carbon build-up and extending engine life. Stage 1 soft tune done at the same time, now producing approx. 290HP and 700Nm of torque. Runs smoothly and pulls strongly.
Brand new 19” Defender alloys with wider offset for a better stance, fitted with General Grabber 255/60/19 tyres – the largest size that fits without rubbing or speedo issues. Yakima roof racks included.
Serviced by Land Rover specialists in Auckland and Tauranga. Purchased 6 months ago from an older owner, prepared for an off-road trip that never happened. Off-road ready but has never been taken off-road.
I’ll be out of the country from the 28th of October till 17 nov, please email me or WhatsApp during these times to arrange viewing, the car will be left with my friend.
A very tidy, well-sorted Discovery 4. Test drives welcome.
Questions & Answers
Do you know if it has had any of the usual engine and transmission issues? Just asking because of the 5 private owners. Do you know if it has rear locking differential by any chance? shirley9051 (233 • 4:48 pm, Thu, 9 Oct )Not that I’m aware of, it’s running really well, welcome to take for a test drive and have an inspection done. Yes has rear Diff lock, my understanding when I bought it was that a few of those owners were dealers. Last owner had it for quite a few years, I can probably find out how long by looking at the service history from the Land Rover specialist on the north shore. It’s been meticulously maintained jskewes (18 • Thursday, 9 October 2025 )In the time I owned it, I drove it from Tauranga to Cambridge every week, towed a 3 ton boat trailer a handful of times and it never missed a beat Seller comment Thursday, 9 October 2025 Sorry to ask the tired old question, but have the timing belts/waterpump been done? masterseal (18 • 11:25 am, Tue, 14 Oct )Yes they have, timing belt is due again at 180,000kms. jskewes (18 • Tuesday, 14 October 2025 )Hey there, do you have the stamped service book for this, keen to see if services were done regularly.
