The 2000Land Rover Discovery S Td5 is a classic example of these tough off-roaders. With its 2.5L diesel engine and auto, this NZ-new Discovery is practical with good off-road ability.
The 4WD system works well, making it good on rough tracks. It's fitted with a tow bar. While generally reliable for its age and in good working order, I'll be honest that it does need some work in a few areas.
Despite the high mileage, these Td5 engines are known for their durability when looked after. The Discovery is easy to drive for its size, with good visibility all around.
